OUR LETTERS

The Greek letters of FirstGen Society are Alpha Gamma Omicron. 
Though FirstGen Society uses Greek letters to represent itself and as elements within its seal, it is not affiliated with Greek life.

Alpha

Alpha is the first letter in the Greek alphabet and represents being the first in one's family to attend and graduate college. 

Gamma

Gamma represents the letter "G" in the Greek alphabet and is the first letter in the word "generation." Additionally, Gamma has a value of 3, which represents the 3 mottos of FirstGen Society: connecting, empowering, and growing together.

Omicron

Omicron represents the letter "O" in the Greek alphabet, which is the first letter in the word "opportunity." Opportunity is the key to growth and learning for first generation college students and alumni.
