Through our fellowship and community, we make it a priority to celebrate first generation college students and alumni all year round! INSIGNIAThe insignia of the National Leadership Society of First Generation College Students, a.k.a. FirstGen Society, is its official seal. |
COLORSThe primary colors of FirstGen Society are cyan and gold. Red is another color used delicately to emphasize courage and determination. |
GREEK LETTERSThe Greek letters of FirstGen Society are Alpha Gamma Omicron and may be recognized at times by its Greek Letter logo. |
MEMBERSHIP BADGEThe membership badge is a separate emblem that contains various elements of the seal. The badge, which all members can purchase and wear, is the symbol of membership and is used to represent the different member grades.

MEMBERSHIP LOGOThe membership logo is a separate formal emblem that represents membership and our chapters and clubs. Similar to the membership badge, the logo also contains the various elements of the FirstGen Society seal.

MASCOT & SIGNALFirstGen Society has its own mascot and hand signal called "First Up." The mascot is an element of our seal and membership logo and badge. It represents upward mobility, academic reach, and being the first in one's family to attend and graduate college. |

FOUNDERS DAYOur Founders Day will be celebrated on October 5th of every year in celebration of the anniversary and official establishment FirstGen Society. Members can wear our colors or our marks on Founders Day. |
